MTA DENSELL is an endodontic sealant cement composed of a variety of mineral oxides in small hydrophilic particles..
It is indicated for cases of sealing endodontically treated root canals., pulp capping, pulpotomies.

ATTRIBUTES:
Endodontic cement based on mineral trioxide to be used with any gutta-percha obturation technique.
•Altamente biocompatible, non-resorbable and dimensionally stable.
•It is bioactive, calcium hydroxide releaser, promoting the differentiation and migration of hard tissue-producing cells, stimulating mineralization.
•Antibacterial and antifungal action, due to its alkalinity (pH 12) .
•Hydroxyapatite former (apatite carbonate) on the surface of the sealant providing a biological seal to the dentin.
•High adhesion to dentin and sealing capacity similar to epoxy resin-based sealants.
•Es radiopaco, hydrophilic, hardening in the presence of humidity and in contact with titular liquids.
•Not mutagenic or neurotoxic.
•Easy handling. Solubility, plasticity, working time according to specification No. 57 from the ADA ( American Dental Association)
